Summary

The create-entry-points CLI is removed from @smooai/utils (major bump). Only two SmooAI repos ever used it — @smooai/utils itself and @smooai/file. @smooai/file was migrated in its own PR. All other SmooAI repos have always managed tsdown entries manually.

  • Delete src/scripts/create-entry-points.{ts,spec.ts}
  • Drop the create-entry-points bin from package.json (leaves generate-git-branch + generate-jira-git-branch)
  • Drop the create-entry-points script entry
  • Build is now just tsdown (no glob preprocess step)
  • Remove @oclif/core, @oclif/plugin-help, @oclif/plugin-plugins, and glob deps (only used by the deleted CLI)
  • Remove ./scripts/create-entry-points from src/index.ts exports
  • Major bump via changeset

Why

  • Auto-generated tsdown.config.ts is confusing for readers (looks hand-written but isn't)
  • Extra glob+write step on every build with no real payoff
  • Only 2 of 8 SmooAI repos used it
  • One-line edits when adding new entries is trivial and explicit

Test plan

  • pnpm install clean
  • pnpm exec tsdown produces correct dist outputs (no create-entry-points artifacts)
  • pnpm exec vitest run — 40 pass / 0 fail
  • tsc --noEmit --skipLibCheck clean
  • pnpm exec oxlint . clean (2 pre-existing warnings, unrelated)

Summary

The create-entry-points CLI is removed from @smooai/utils (major bump). Only two SmooAI repos ever used it — @smooai/utils itself and @smooai/file. @smooai/file was migrated in its own PR. All other SmooAI repos have always managed tsdown entries manually.

  • Delete src/scripts/create-entry-points.{ts,spec.ts}
  • Drop the create-entry-points bin from package.json (leaves generate-git-branch + generate-jira-git-branch)
  • Drop the create-entry-points script entry
  • Build is now just tsdown (no glob preprocess step)
  • Remove @oclif/core, @oclif/plugin-help, @oclif/plugin-plugins, and glob deps (only used by the deleted CLI)
  • Remove ./scripts/create-entry-points from src/index.ts exports
  • Major bump via changeset

Why

  • Auto-generated tsdown.config.ts is confusing for readers (looks hand-written but isn't)
  • Extra glob+write step on every build with no real payoff
  • Only 2 of 8 SmooAI repos used it
  • One-line edits when adding new entries is trivial and explicit

Test plan

  • pnpm install clean
  • pnpm exec tsdown produces correct dist outputs (no create-entry-points artifacts)
  • pnpm exec vitest run — 40 pass / 0 fail
  • tsc --noEmit --skipLibCheck clean
  • pnpm exec oxlint . clean (2 pre-existing warnings, unrelated)
