Adds claude-fable-5-1 (introduced in Claude Code CLI 2.1.257 as the new default Fable model, 1M context) to the built-in Claude catalog.

Changes

  • Catalog entry with the same options as Fable 5 (reasoning selector incl. ultracode/ultrathink, context window 200k/1M)
  • Version gate: hidden below Claude Code CLI 2.1.257
  • normalize_claude_cli_effort: xhigh passes through for claude-fable-5-1 instead of being bumped to max

The fallback-mismatch detection already matches via contains("fable"), so no change needed there.

Verification

  • cargo fmt --all --check ✅
  • cargo clippy --workspace --all-targets --locked -- -D warnings ✅
  • cargo test --workspace --locked ✅ (incl. new boundary assertions for the 2.1.257 gate and xhigh passthrough)

Changes

Adds claude-fable-5-1 (introduced in Claude Code CLI 2.1.257 as the new default Fable model, 1M context) to the built-in Claude catalog.
Changes
  • Catalog entry with the same options as Fable 5 (reasoning selector incl. ultracode/ultrathink, context window 200k/1M)
  • Version gate: hidden below Claude Code CLI 2.1.257
  • normalize_claude_cli_effort: xhigh passes through for claude-fable-5-1 instead of being bumped to max
The fallback-mismatch detection already matches via contains("fable"), so no change needed there.
Verification
  • cargo fmt --all --check ✅
  • cargo clippy --workspace --all-targets --locked -- -D warnings ✅
  • cargo test --workspace --locked ✅ (incl. new boundary assertions for the 2.1.257 gate and xhigh passthrough)
