Explicitly requested by Andi: preserve the long-term ambition for a serious modern 2.5D-first/3D engine. Godot/Unity/Unreal are quality references, not feature-parity promises. Records measurable workflow quality and native/plugin/bridge decisions without changing roadmap scope or approving a painter/sculptor.
