Software developer working on production RAG systems and open-source elearning infrastructure. I split my time between shipping AI-driven products and maintaining core modules of ILIAS, an open-source LMS used by universities across Europe.
🔭 Currently building:OpoFlash, a microservices-based elearning platform with a custom RAG pipeline that ingests student content and auto-generates flashcards and summaries, paired with a spaced-repetition engine (FSRS-5) written in Python.
🧠 Also shipped:Checkeapp, a real-time fact-checking platform (TypeScript, Next.js, React) that uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation to pull live web sources and generate verifiable, source-backed reports — 95% accuracy on report generation.
🛠️ Open source: Technical owner of Survey, a core module of ILIAS — leading its roadmap, resolving backlog, and shipping architectural improvements, alongside contributions to accessibility (WCAG) initiatives across the platform.
⚙️ Stack: TypeScript/React/Next.js on the frontend; Java (Spring Boot), .NET, and Node.js on the backend; AWS, Docker, and GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
🌱 Currently learning: Kubernetes, containerized deployments, and cloud-native architecture patterns to scale multi-client production systems.
