Summary

Adds OmniSearch (omnisearch) — a research assistant for AI agents. Tell your agent what you want to learn about any topic, and it reads 12 platforms (X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Hacker News, Stack Overflow, GitHub, Dev.to, arXiv, Lobsters, Bluesky) and returns a clear, sourced answer.

What it is

  • For humans, not developers — README is a plain-language 3-step guide (install once, tell your agent, read the answer) with copy-paste prompts.
  • For agents — ships SKILL.md for auto-discovery; consistent JSON output so agents can rank by real traction.
  • No login for 7 platforms; the 5 social giants use the users own account quietly via webcmd profile.

Commands (8, Tier 1 no-login)

verdict (synthesize the community answer), research (aggregate, filterable via --sources), hackermind, stackoverflow, github, arxiv, devto, lobsters, bluesky-posts.

Verification

  • webcmd validate omnisearch → PASS (8 commands, 0 errors)
  • npm run check-community-plugins → Checked 123 plugins (includes omnisearch)
  • All commands live-tested; fresh clone installs and validates

Adds OmniSearch (omnisearch) — a research assistant for AI agents. Tell your agent what you want to learn about any topic, and it reads 12 platforms (X, Reddit, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Hacker News, Stack Overflow, GitHub, Dev.to, arXiv, Lobsters, Bluesky) and returns a clear, sourced answer.
