SideNav: Sidenav with Navigation Patterns like Material Design

In the next milestones is planned the development of the navigation patterns (permanent, persistent, temporary, mini variant) for Sidenav according to Material Design?

I think it's important to provide these navigation patterns for the sidenav, for example:

These will be a very important part of the Angular Material portfolio. I believe these patterns are a relatively new addition to the design specification. We will start planning these next week.

This was a late addition to the Material Design spec. We'll address this after our 1.0 release.
