companion to #11892 - the nix side, not intended to be merged before #11892 makes it into dev

Note: the nix hash update CI doesnt run on the beta branch so nix run github:anomalyco/opencode/beta does not work due to hash mismatch. However since the beta branch is recreated every hour, it would be wasteful/take too long to re-run the nix CI each time the beta branch gets reset/rebuilt
