Summary

  • Replace the separate task band, browser panel, and generated-file rail with one right-side session workbar containing three peer tabs.
  • Keep the workbar user-controlled with independent persisted visibility, active tab, and a 320–600px keyboard-accessible resize range.
  • Preserve the existing Browser and Files behavior inside the shared shell, disable Browser when no live view exists, and move the whole workbar below the conversation at 990px and narrower.

Closes#1031

Verification

  • npm --workspace @maka/desktop run typecheck
  • npm --workspace @maka/desktop test — 2551 passed
  • npx playwright test --config e2e/playwright.config.ts e2e/session-workbar.spec.ts — 1 passed
  • Captured and inspected the task-ledger visual-smoke fixture at light 1280px and 990px; verified the titlebar separation, desktop right rail, and narrow bottom-workspace layout.

Summary

Summary
  • Replace the separate task band, browser panel, and generated-file rail with one right-side session workbar containing three peer tabs.
  • Keep the workbar user-controlled with independent persisted visibility, active tab, and a 320–600px keyboard-accessible resize range.
  • Preserve the existing Browser and Files behavior inside the shared shell, disable Browser when no live view exists, and move the whole workbar below the conversation at 990px and narrower.
Closes#1031
Verification
  • npm --workspace @maka/desktop run typecheck
  • npm --workspace @maka/desktop test — 2551 passed
  • npx playwright test --config e2e/playwright.config.ts e2e/session-workbar.spec.ts — 1 passed
  • Captured and inspected the task-ledger visual-smoke fixture at light 1280px and 990px; verified the titlebar separation, desktop right rail, and narrow bottom-workspace layout.
