Summary

  • Reclassify Settings navigation into preference, capability, activity, and system groups, with Astryx SideNav collapse behavior at narrow widths.
  • Move Settings and Modules directly onto Astryx 0.1.9 primitives for cards, items, forms, segmented controls, tabs, tables, disclosures, empty/loading states, banners, badges, and MCP entity rows.
  • Present Skills/MCP and Plan Reminders/Daily Review as peer module selectors, while keeping each page's browse views in Astryx TabList.
  • Add faithful Product Storybook states for populated Usage, configured Providers, installed Skills, configured MCP health/error states, and wide/compact/480px light/dark coverage.
  • Keep shared legacy primitives in place for consumers outside Slice 10; this PR does not touch app-shell or conversation ownership.

Verification

  • npm run format:check
  • npm run lint
  • npm run build
  • npm --workspace @maka/ui test — 296 passed
  • Desktop typecheck, typecheck:stories, test:checks, and npm test — 2028 passed
  • npm run test:scripts — 229 passed
  • npm run build-storybook
  • npm run smoke:storybook — 51 render/play checks passed across real Product stories, viewport states, and light/dark themes
  • npx playwright test --config e2e/playwright.config.ts e2e/settings.spec.ts e2e/mcp.spec.ts e2e/sidebar-navigation.spec.ts — 26 Electron journeys passed
  • Compared geometry and taxonomy against the official Astryx Storybook and the installed @astryxdesign/core@0.1.9 source/types/CSS. Live Electron evidence is attached below.

Summary
  • Reclassify Settings navigation into preference, capability, activity, and system groups, with Astryx SideNav collapse behavior at narrow widths.
  • Move Settings and Modules directly onto Astryx 0.1.9 primitives for cards, items, forms, segmented controls, tabs, tables, disclosures, empty/loading states, banners, badges, and MCP entity rows.
  • Present Skills/MCP and Plan Reminders/Daily Review as peer module selectors, while keeping each page's browse views in Astryx TabList.
  • Add faithful Product Storybook states for populated Usage, configured Providers, installed Skills, configured MCP health/error states, and wide/compact/480px light/dark coverage.
  • Keep shared legacy primitives in place for consumers outside Slice 10; this PR does not touch app-shell or conversation ownership.
Verification
  • npm run format:check
  • npm run lint
  • npm run build
  • npm --workspace @maka/ui test — 296 passed
  • Desktop typecheck, typecheck:stories, test:checks, and npm test — 2028 passed
  • npm run test:scripts — 229 passed
  • npm run build-storybook
  • npm run smoke:storybook — 51 render/play checks passed across real Product stories, viewport states, and light/dark themes
  • npx playwright test --config e2e/playwright.config.ts e2e/settings.spec.ts e2e/mcp.spec.ts e2e/sidebar-navigation.spec.ts — 26 Electron journeys passed
