omniplan-cli

omniplan-cli

A self-describing CLI for OmniPlan 4 on macOS. Every command prints JSON and documents its own inputs and outputs, so an LLM agent can drive it as a shell tool.

Requirements

  • macOS with OmniPlan 4 running
  • Go 1.22+ (to build)
  • Automation permission granted to your terminal (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation)

Build & Install

go build -o omniplan-cli ./cmd/omniplan
# optional: move onto PATH
mv omniplan-cli /usr/local/bin/

Machine-readable API

Get the full command catalog as JSON in one call:

omniplan-cli schema

Each entry has: command, description, params (name, type, required, default, description), and output (shape hint). Every command also supports --help.

omniplan-cli
omniplan-cli
A self-describing CLI for OmniPlan 4 on macOS. Every command prints JSON and documents its own inputs and outputs, so an LLM agent can drive it as a shell tool.
Requirements
  • macOS with OmniPlan 4 running
  • Go 1.22+ (to build)
  • Automation permission granted to your terminal (System Settings → Privacy & Security → Automation)
Build & Install
go build -o omniplan-cli ./cmd/omniplan

mv omniplan-cli /usr/local/bin/
Machine-readable API
Get the full command catalog as JSON in one call:
omniplan-cli schema
Each entry has: command, description, params (name, type, required, default, description), and output (shape hint). Every command also supports --help.
