The OAD Data Science Toolkit Website

These are the files for the OAD Astronomy & Data Science Toolkit Website.

Translations

The toolkit website allows for community to add translations. Ideally this is done via GitHub by forkng this repository, making the changes, and submitting a pull request. More information on this is found under How to upload content via GitHub.

Have a look at issues to see which translations are needed. Feel free to contribute with whatever language you wish.

You will find the parts which need translating by looking through the source code and looking for <!-- [LANGUAGE] -->

The OAD Data Science Toolkit Website
These are the files for the OAD Astronomy & Data Science Toolkit Website.
Translations
The toolkit website allows for community to add translations. Ideally this is done via GitHub by forkng this repository, making the changes, and submitting a pull request. More information on this is found under How to upload content via GitHub.
Have a look at issues to see which translations are needed. Feel free to contribute with whatever language you wish.
You will find the parts which need translating by looking through the source code and looking for <!-- [LANGUAGE] -->
Here is an example:

Should you not find your desired language, then please copy and paste the English entry and edit this one. Remember to add the correct country code to the language tag. For instance if you wish to contribute in French make sure you change the ISO language code from lang="en" to lang="fr". For a list of ISO language codes see here.
The files which need translating when a new language is added are:
  • header.php
  • index.php
  • toolkit.php
  • footer.php

We track the visitors to the website using Piwik, which is an open-source analytics platform.
We collect collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. We additionally collect potentially personally-identifying information like IP addresses. We do not share this information with any third party. All the data collected is stored on our server.
