PLFC Solunar and Conditions is a single-file browser prototype for comparing solunar windows, weather, waves, tides and selected Minjerribah fishing locations.

Public page

What it uses

  • Solunar data from api.solunar.org, with a sunrise and sunset fallback.
  • Weather and marine data from Open-Meteo.
  • Optional WorldTides data when the user supplies an API key.
  • Browser-local preferences and the locally supplied tide API key.

The interface includes Point Lookout, Amity, Dunwich and Jumpinpin presets, quick-read cards and refresh information for each data source.

Open locally

Open index.html in a browser. Internet access is required for live API data. No build step or application backend is included.

Safety and data boundaries

This is an experimental planning view, not a marine-safety, navigation, emergency-warning or official tide service. APIs can fail, lag, rate-limit or return incomplete data. Check the Bureau of Meteorology, maritime authorities and local conditions before going on the water.

The WorldTides key is stored in that browser's localStorage. Do not commit an API key to the repository or use a shared public computer for a private key.
