Aura brings the scattered parts of everyday life into one personal interface: family birthdays, reminders, calendars, skills, goals, hopes, favourites, learning and travel. The aim is to make useful connections between those things and have the right information ready when a person or their AI assistant needs it.
Aura Matrix Studio is the current working web implementation of Luke Nathan Hayes' Aura of Intelligence. It combines the original phone app's layouts and icons with a programmable, fixed 12 x 24 matrix. The matrix is one part of the wider Aura interface. This is a developing public-source application; some original screens still contain design placeholders.
The app opens at Starting Point Aura / QuickStart. Each original frame keeps its designed portrait or landscape orientation regardless of how the phone is held. If the available viewport has the opposite orientation, Aura rotates the entire frame, including its controls, instead of rearranging or shrinking it into a strip. This preserves the frame design without requiring full-screen mode. The book accepts clicks, touch and horizontal swipes, with animated page turns. Its short questions collect:
- Your birthday.
- The original avatar questions.
- Family and important people, including birthdays.
- Key dates and life events.
- Timing, signals and reminders.
- Favourites.
- Skills and learning.
- Goals and hopes.
- Places you have travelled, places you want to visit and your travel goal.
- Tables and allocation into the matrix.
You can skip questions and return later. Information becomes editable tables rather than a discarded onboarding questionnaire. The catalogue contains 37 recommended datasets covering the 145 original source pages. Suggested chakra associations are philosophical, editable and may include more than one chakra.
Friends and Dating combine repeated prompts into one relevant question, with space for extra detail. Earlier answers remain editable under that question. Saved location and availability can be linked between contexts; height can reuse the avatar measurement. Linked values follow their source, while a different answer can be kept for each context. Reuse does not copy disclosure permissions.
Family & belonging contains the family tree, occasions, support networks, Friendships and Dating. Family links have no generation limit. People can have multiple connections, including cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, ancestors, descendants and chosen kin. Relationship words, reciprocal terms, cultural approaches and meanings are editable. The connection view limits what is drawn at once, not the size of the family.
Wishes and bucket-list experiences now share one collection while retaining their original categories and saved rows. The former bucket-list destination opens Achievements & memories, with accomplishments, places lived, places visited, lessons, experiences and contributions. Dates may be exact, approximate or left blank. Life goals remain separate.
Dating has a visual connection map with 12 areas: identity and sexuality, intentions, five love languages, appearance and attraction, personality, emotional availability, intimacy and kinks, trust and boundaries, time, location, shared life and relationship signals. Giving and receiving affection have separate optional sliders. A weekly grid records preferred time windows. Labels are optional and your own words can add context.
Attraction includes specific body features, shapes and builds; smell, voice, touch and movement; and independent importance sliders for appearance, chemistry, personality, knowledge, wealth, status and other sources of attraction. No combination is preselected. Familiar-family reflection explores qualities someone wants to seek or differ from. Star signs and self-described personality types are optional choices, alongside personal observations and own-word answers. Related cards are grouped into Body & looks, Senses, Reflection and other small sections that fit the phone frame.
Each Dating or Friendship answer can be marked Private, By permission or Public. All start private. Outer Aura provides a local preview and a JSON export containing only the selected audience's answers and their notes. These are disclosure intentions and portable snapshots: no online profile is published, recipients are not authenticated, and changing an audience cannot revoke an exported copy. Connection profiles are not yet attached automatically to exterior facets or enforced by a remote permission service.
Dating and Friendships offer tappable suggestion tiles alongside your own words. Choose several ideas, remove them individually, and add context without retyping. Relevant answers you have already selected can be offered again with their source shown; nothing is selected automatically. Appearance, values, care, boundaries, activities and other open questions include starting ideas. Names, exact locality and measurements remain direct entries.
Three independent five-position scales explore planned versus spontaneous, predictable familiarity versus random discovery, and like minds versus complementary opposites. Cultural and faith preferences are separate choices, with room to describe shared traditions, intercultural or interfaith openness, or preferences decided person by person. All choices can be left unset. The visual interface uses interactive controls and colour, without illustrative photographs.
Priorities separates an area's importance (Flexible, Important, Essential), urgency (Later, Soon, Now), and focus order. Rank the areas you want to explore, move them earlier or later, or remove a rank without changing importance or urgency. These are personal planning preferences, not scores assigned to people. Their values and all custom answers are included in the normal Aura project backup.
Dating is framed around radical longevity and possible age reversal as a future planning assumption. Life chapters, renewable commitments, rejuvenation preferences and shared projects can extend across decades, centuries or an open-ended horizon. There is no prescribed sequence of marriage, parenthood or retirement. The pronoun question has been removed. Age fields use actual chronological years with an 18+ product floor and no fixed upper age ceiling; apparent age or a biological-age estimate cannot replace chronological age. Local consent and other legal requirements still apply. This is a local planning tool, not age verification or a jurisdiction-specific legal eligibility check. Queensland's official consent guidance and minor-related offences guidance describe requirements beyond a simple age preference.
Friendships has nine visual areas for making new friends, desired qualities, open mindedness, hard no's, time and social energy, shared activities, meeting places, communication and care, and next steps. Choose how you would like to meet people, what you could invite someone to do, and which differences you welcome.
Both maps use optional question cards, selectable suggestions, saved summaries and visible progress. Existing hopes, values, activities, boundaries, pace and availability are preserved. People and catch-up records remain available; catch-up planning creates a record in Timing & signals. These are personal organising tools, not a matching service or messaging network. Profile answers stay in this browser and are included in full Aura backups. Sharing and AI-use notes record intentions; they do not grant or enforce access permissions.
Grey Area Commons informed the prompts about pace, differences, green/amber/red signals, personal boundaries and choosing what to share. No data is sent there.
Existing QuickStart answers retain their row identities. Family birthdays update the shared timing records. CSV imports preserve extra fields. Entries can be backed up and allocated to facets and stacks through the matrix.
Social Web keeps the original life collections alongside Profiles, Import and Explore. Platform pages store profile links, purpose and interests. CSV imports show a review before saving all columns into Aura tables. Dataset summaries show actual row counts, populated cells and distinct field values. No platform login, direct account sync, ZIP archive processing or personality inference is implied.
System Preferences retains Advertising Options, Memory, Network Devices and Algorithms. Its intended role is the connection layer for hardware and software extensions, data, and the memory or storage those extensions use. The current local editors are preparatory; the live extension runtime remains to be built. Connected Aura direction records the intended relationship between devices, software, data and memory.
- Advertising pages collect topics, boundaries, sponsorship or crowdfunding plans. Public Wish Lists exports only the selected wish titles and categories; it does not publish them.
- Memory shows actual project size, tables, rows, facet records, stacks and programs. Tables and full backups can be downloaded.
- Devices and services form an editable manual inventory. Live capacity, pairing and device control are not connected.
- Algorithms and Nearby Opportunities now show their original content and navigation. The generic input/rule/output forms have been withdrawn while the actual tools are designed. Existing saved configurations remain in Aura backups.
Mind Palaces retains the five original pathways: sample palace, home and office, public buildings, real estate, and resorts and nature.
Start with a captured place, not room dimensions. Add photos, walk-through video or scan/model files; review photos and playable videos; and keep source captures separate from reconstruction results. Places can link to an Aura table and memory instructions. Scan/model files are retained for an external reconstruction tool, not rendered as a fake floor plan.
Media is stored locally in IndexedDB. Project JSON backups contain media references, not the binary files; retain your originals or use Download original for individual files. An exportable reconstruction brief describes the place, source files, table reference and instructions. No media is uploaded, and no AI reconstruction runs yet. The intended next step is a connected reconstruction extension which produces a realistic navigable environment with spatial memory anchors. Previously saved room plans and pins remain in project backups.
Aura Affinity retains Vision, Search, Marketplace, Public Ledger and Membership. Category pages preserve their original search actions. The extra Open market map button has been removed. Map and discovery results scroll continuously, loading more as you browse. Membership and ledger entries are local planning drafts, with no submission or transaction service connected.
The Timing & Signals landing page now fits its ten visual sections, saved-entry counts, QuickStart, celestial cycles, travel timeline and AI context into the phone frame. Its sections keep starting ideas and saved entries together in illustrated cards, with the working editors retained. The Crown's Celestial Cycles diagram supports wheel or pinch zoom, drag panning, double-tap reset and keyboard controls. Physical celestial calculations are unchanged; zoom affects only the view.
All of these records stay in this browser and are included in the Aura project backup. Stored reminders do not deliver background notifications.
The site map is a connected, expandable name tree. Scroll through branches or search to reveal a page and its ancestors; tap its icon or title to open it. It follows the original page hierarchy with corrected working destinations, and adds new pages automatically. There is no separate page preview. It includes the original destinations and the new Friendships section. Camera-background variants and the old star-map duplicate resolve to their working destinations rather than becoming extra navigation steps.
Favourites retains the original 25-slot layout. Titles wrap onto two lines; longer names use a larger icon with the full name available to assistive technology and in Edit. Tap an empty square to select a page and its icon. Edit mode replaces, moves or clears a shortcut; moving onto an occupied slot swaps them. The turning book below cycles through page icons and titles. Tap the page to open it, or the star to add it to your favourites. Choices are grouped by their relationships: Start and shortcuts, People and family, Time and routines, Goals and learning, Travel and places, Aura and self, Matrix and tools, Markets and community, and Settings and devices. The picker uses a three-column icon grid with as many rows as fit; search spans every group. The flipbook follows those groups rather than the alphabet. Named shortcut menus can be created and renamed. Old blank or arrow icons are replaced with the destination's artwork.
The main menu and matrix programmer can place their controls over a camera feed. Camera use starts only after you request it and grant browser permission; tracks stop when you switch it off, leave the page or hide the tab. Nothing is recorded or uploaded.
Navigation uses consistent, softly glowing Back and Next controls. QuickStart no longer shows the four decorative mini arrows. Its opened steps use rounded, softly coloured input sheets: a live birthday dial with separate day, month and year controls, tap-to-select avatar answers and favourites, and concise forms for people, dates, reminders, skills, goals and travel. Saved answers continue to feed the same Aura tables. The original QuickStart page and flipbook layout are retained.
Every shell stays 12 rows x 24 columns, or 288 facets. The seven shells are Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet. Each has inside and outside addresses, giving 4,032 face addresses. The underlying address does not change when the display transforms between a flat matrix, cylinder, torus, nested shells or body arrangement.
All seven portrait colour pages now open a live torus with an Inside/Outside toggle, multi-facet selection, table placement, record moves and stack editing. Each side can have its own colour, glass, luminous or uploaded image skin, with still, breathe, shimmer or turn animation. Appearance is saved with the same project as its data.
Selections are remembered separately for each shell and side. Select one or several facets, use the numbered map, move inside the chosen torus, or work with edges, vertices and cubic volume points. Rays terminate at actual vertices; the coincident horn registers do not create a ray sticking out of the torus.
Attach records, data, instructions and asset links to an address. Stack additional facets outward to represent ordered steps. Each layer advances its 24-bit colour code by one, while its full address also retains shell, side, facet and layer. The corner badge shows the added layer count. Explode the stack to inspect its steps; collapse it to keep the model compact.
Display height is independent of program length. Up to 256 layers are all drawn; larger stacks show evenly spaced samples and the selected layer, with an explicit sampled indicator. The complete addressed sequence is retained. The model supports up to 16,777,215 added layers without allocating a separate object for each one.
Create tables or import CSV, keep your own columns, then preview allocation to consecutive facets or ordered stack steps. Repeated allocation adds only new rows. Editing a table does not silently overwrite records already copied into the matrix; those copies remain editable through the matrix tools.
Programs support ordered Visit, Recall and Pause steps, repetitions and compact stack spans. The browser can run those local operations. Recall exposes the attached instructions, required data and asset references. Export a program as aura-agent-program/1 JSON or as a generated SKILL.md containing the same manifest.
These exports prepare work for an external agent. They do not install a skill, schedule an automation, call an LLM or authorise external actions automatically. Numerical vectors can be attached separately from their three-dimensional display position; no embedding or learning model is connected yet.
Travel Plans starts with 201 seed destinations from the existing Australian World Travel and Visa & Activity Atlas projects. Mark destinations Visited, Want to go or Planned, or add any country, island, territory, disputed region or other place yourself.
The starting goal of 256 destinations over 10 years is editable. It is a personal target, not a fixed country count or a limit on the list. Repeat visits to the same named destination count once towards progress.
Trips can hold departure and return dates, seasonal region, preferred season, purpose and personal astrology notes. Dated trips appear in the travel timeline and can open Crown's celestial tools at that date. Travel Plans also links to the World Travel route and logistics tools, the Visa & Activity Atlas and the Strange But True Travel Oracle.
Your avatar opens five mobile forms: avatar preferences, personal space, eyes and spacing, height and reach, and shoulders and arm span. Short question pages, clear measurement units, saved-answer counts and large controls replace the original static instructions. Every input is optional; photos are not required.
The eight avatar preferences use the same rows as QuickStart, so answers can be edited from either place. Existing answers, custom columns and attachments are preserved. Measurements use centimetres or millimetres as labelled. Personal space has a 2D person surrounded by seven nested Aura layers. Select a colour, then adjust distance and person height with sliders or exact values. Distance is measured from the centre and the shell diameter is twice that value. Adjoining layers move when needed to keep the set nested. Each layer can have its own meaning; the earlier four-zone reference does not define these seven layers. Top view shows the seven circular torus outlines around the overhead human. Side view shows seven stretched horn-torus bubbles around the standing human, with coloured fog, curved meridian lines and horizontal distance guides. Fog fills only the selected layer and stops at its hard outline; the human is composited in front without being tinted. Each torus has the entered outer radius and a vertical height matching the person. One uniform centimetre scale applies to the person and geometry. Holding the person switches the male/female reference and saves that choice with your layers. Tapping the person switches the side and overhead images. Each realistic generated reference holds one arm forward and one sideways at shoulder height. Head-to-foot height follows the entered height; other body proportions and reach are illustrative. The diagram opens framed around the person. Pinch to zoom, drag to move and double-tap to reset. Hold the background to toggle mist. On a computer use the mouse wheel to zoom; keyboard plus/minus zoom, arrows move, zero resets, V turns, F/M select the figure and S toggles mist. There are no diagram menus, zoom buttons or scroll bars. Example radii are 45, 60, 75, 90, 110, 130 and 150 cm; earlier saved values remain editable. Each view fits independently; changing view preserves the selected layer and unsaved values. A radius is the distance from the person’s centre to a shell; diameter is the full width across it. Wider shells may extend beyond the person-centred view; zoom out to inspect them without stretching either axis. Example sizes stay unsaved until Save layers is used. Boundaries, meanings and additional shell geometry remain in project tables; this separate set does not change the fixed 12 x 24 matrix. Saved height, reach and arm span produce simple ratio summaries. These values prepare avatar calibration; they do not yet resize the live matrix or operate proximity sensors. All records remain in browser storage and project backups.
QuickStart birthdays, key dates, schedules, skills and goals appear in their matching Timing and Signals sections. Ten working pages replace the old placeholders: Birthdays, Milestones and goals, Counters, Schedules, Reminders, Ceremonies, Learning, Work, Weather signals and Community. The original timing menu shows saved-entry counts.
All ten sections open with populated options, even before any personal data is entered. One menu combines 126 general ideas with saved entries. Tap an idea to personalise it in the working editor; matching saved entries take their place in the same menu. Search covers options and saved titles, and Original ideas retains the source design notes. Nothing is added to your tables until you save.
Each entry has compact Details, When, If, Action and Preview tabs. Set daily, weekly, monthly or yearly repeats, intervals, stop dates and advance reminder minutes. Conditions compare a current numeric table value with a threshold. Actions hold instructions, JSON data and an optional matrix sequence. Preview the next three reminders and the current condition result, then save or export an aura-timing-rule/1 manifest for an agent. Editing preserves the original table and row identity.
Times use the current device's local time. Monthly repeats use the final day of shorter months; 29 February birthdays use 28 February in other years. Rules are stored and previewed locally; background notifications, email/SMS delivery and automatic execution are not connected.
Crown's Earth icon opens a working map in the original portrait or landscape frame. All eight published Horn Torus layers are included: 91,552 source point records covering starter places, First Aura Alliance, North Stradbroke references, Australian missions abroad, world cities, universities and education, foreign missions in Australia, and Aura Affinity.
Switch layers or search across names and locations. Search fits the matching places on the map. Tap a numbered group to zoom in and separate its places; tap an individual dot to zoom to it and open a compact Place / Source card. Records sharing a location can be cycled with previous and next controls. There is no permanent list beneath the map. The Affinity name filter is on initially and can be switched off to inspect the complete snapshot; it never removes places from unrelated layers. Sources, dates, coordinate precision and original qualifications remain available under Layers. This is a dated snapshot, not a live registry.
Drop named pins or import named GeoJSON Point/MultiPoint features and CSV with name, latitude and longitude columns. Personal places are saved in Aura tables and normal project backups, ready for facet or stack allocation. Imports of lines and polygons are not supported yet. OpenStreetMap supplies the online base tiles; Google Maps is not required. The page supports drag and pin placement in rotated frames.
Crown's star icon owns the celestial section. Timing and Signals supplies dates and context to it. The celestial back arrow returns to Crown.
The celestial section includes the Sun, all eight major planets and Earth's Moon, using locally calculated positions for the selected date. Choose the compact solar system, a view with projected distances to scale, the inner planets, or an Earth-Moon and rotation diagram. Compact distances are logarithmically compressed; planet markers and Moon separation are enlarged and labelled. This is a calculated map, not a photograph or a satellite feed.
Change the UTC date, animate time, inspect a planet, or jump to the next new or full Moon. Dates can come from travel plans, birthdays, life events, schedules, counters and ceremonies. A selected date can be saved back as a trip's departure. The clock shows astronomical seasons by hemisphere, tropical Sun signs, lunar phase and Earth rotation. Personal astrology interpretations remain separate from calculated positions.
Timing and Signals also provides Prepare AI context. Choose relevant tables and a date window, inspect the resulting information, then copy or download it for your chosen AI. The pack retains data, notes, instructions and facet references, with calculated celestial context for dated trips. Nothing is sent automatically.
Market pages open a map filtered to their category, including accommodation, creative industries, events, health and wellbeing, and cities. Search by name, place or service, switch between sources, or view the matching results.
The map carries 316 original Aura Alliance places and 10,528 filtered Affinity candidates from the Horn Torus project's snapshots. Gold and blue distinguish the sources. Whole-name-word matching removes many unrelated substring matches from the Affinity automation's results. These are candidates, not confirmed alliance memberships. The upstream Affinity automation has not been changed by this release.
The map uses locally bundled Leaflet and OpenStreetMap tiles with attribution. It works without a Google Maps key. Other Horn Torus layers, map-data imports, dropped pins and an optional Google Maps provider remain future additions. See map sources and filtering.
The explainer includes six fixed-grid poses, editable camera transitions, captions and durations, playback and scrubbing. Export a PNG, real-time 720p WebM recording or geometric JSON sequence. The Blender importer builds an additional scene from that geometric sequence while preserving existing scenes.
The Blender bridge currently handles the geometric explainer, not the newer record tables, stack programs or celestial tools. Browser recordings have no generated audio; smoothness depends on the device.

These projects inform and complement Aura; linking them does not mean every feature or dataset has already been integrated. Travel entry requirements and advisories remain with their dated source tools rather than being copied as current facts.
On this Windows laptop, double-click Start Aura.cmd. It uses Node.js to serve the app at 127.0.0.1:4318 and reuses an existing server. Alternatively, serve this repository with any static web server. No build service, account or backend is required.
Personal tables, favourites, records and programs stay in browser storage under aura-matrix-studio:v4:project. Older v3, v2 or v1 projects are read when v4 is absent. Reload older app tabs before continuing. Download a project JSON backup regularly; browser storage can be cleared, and different browsers or origins have separate copies.
The public repository does not contain your personal project data. GitHub Pages projects under the same account share an origin, so this browser edition is not a secure personal vault. Inside/outside matrix addresses do not provide encryption. External map tiles and links use the network; personal project records are not automatically sent to them.
Calendar synchronisation, dependable scheduled notifications, an external agent runner, learned associations, richer avatar features, desktop packaging and a dedicated local data store remain future work. Existing forms collect their relevant data but do not yet provide all those services.
Earth, space-weather and satellite pattern research is a longer-term direction. No satellite feed, forecasting system, predictive astrology service, hardware controller or external automation is enabled. The fixed 12 x 24 address model remains the foundation across implementations.
Run node --test tests/*.test.js and python tools/test_market_filter.py. The checks cover fixed geometry, per-shell selections, inside cameras, stack spacing and colours, backups, table allocation, navigation, icons, market filtering, travel records and celestial calculations. GitHub Actions validates and publishes the static site.
The original Mockplus archive contains 145 page records, 621 link definitions and 153 referenced artwork files. The archive stays outside this repository and is not modified. Original artwork and coordinates are preserved as source material; working overlays replace specific placeholders and navigation problems. Portrait and landscape source layouts scale to fit their respective screens.
See original layouts, dataset catalogue, market data, travel and timing, future directions and validation notes for details and limitations. Earlier validation notes describe their named releases; current checks run through the repository workflow.
Geometry follows the Horn Torus roll path. The personal Aura, under the Aura, hardware harness and learning pages inform the separation of addresses, relationships and learning.
Original code, design and content are by Luke Nathan Hayes / Strange But True / Aura of Intelligence, under the Strange But True Public Source Licence. This is a public-source licence, not a standard open-source licence. Read its terms before reuse.
Bundled Three.js, Leaflet and Astronomy Engine retain their MIT notices in vendor/. OpenStreetMap data and tiles retain their source attribution. Astronomy calculations use Astronomy Engine 2.1.19.
Eyes and spacing, Height and reach, and Shoulders and arm span now use the same male and female references as Personal space. Each guide shows the pose and the two measurement endpoints with one input at a time. Swipe to browse, or use the previous/save controls. Hold the figure to change the reference; keyboard F/M is also available. Measurements retain their existing QuickStart row IDs and units.
The original nine eye-photo positions are restored in order: camera, eyes wide open, left, right, up, down, ahead again, gently closed and tightly closed. Each shows the ruler placement and can hold its own photo. Compressed local photo copies are saved in the avatar-eye-photos table and included in the existing project backup. The three numerical eye measurements remain available from the same page. Photo references show how to measure; the app does not infer dimensions from photographs.
Avatar creation now has an illustrated menu linking to its five original sections. Shoulder width uses arms-relaxed references; the eye-photo ruler shows numbered centimetres and millimetre subdivisions along its bottom edge.
