New Release?

Firstly, thanks for this incredibly interesting project.

I see that the latest release is from January but that there has been some more recent activity in the repo. (e.g. GIS modules)

Curious if there will be new releases and what the approximate roadmap is.

This is a very exciting project and I'm hoping it continues development!

The GIS work is definitely different than the rest of AS. We hadn't decided on whether it should be in AS or in a new repo due to being pretty stand-alone.

At the time, we decided to keep the two GIS libraries in their own directories. This means that the best way to access them is via
https://unpkg.com/browse/agentscript/
.. or other CDNs like skypack.

Just last week we decided that these issues needed clarification. So two of us are beginning to formalizing just how AS should be structured. (Note that the CDNs will always be available no matter how we restructure)

One set of decisions have to do with the C in MVC C currently includes mouse, gui, keyboard, .. controllers. They also are like GIS in that they could easily be their own repo. We decided to keep them in AS proper.

We've very interested in your opinions and ease of use ideas!

On the controls front, I would vote to not integrate this too deeply into the core model / view logic - so that it remains easy to use the model / view logic independently. Reason being that the big advantage with this package is that it is JS, so it becomes possible to do some nice interfaces via React or Vue and standard CSS frameworks for buttons and JS packages for charts. So I suspect many of us would end up rolling our own GUI logic. That said, some ease-of-use functions for handling start / reset / and similar scenarios could be useful...

And yes, as you point out, the bundles need to be updated for a couple of new modules, definitely a bug. We won't be putting GIS there now, however.

And similarly I'll update the formal release as soon as plots are finished.

Lets keep this open until that time. Great issue, btw!
