DEI Badging for Events

To learn more about our project, please check out the CHAOSS Community Handbook.

Please review the Diversity and Inclusion Event Submission Guidelines before applying for an Event badge.

Event Badging 3.0 is Released!

We are happy to announce that we have released the largest update so far!

We have added new metrics to the review process and performed some much-needed updates to our process for awarding badges.

Please Note: All applications from now on will be considered using v3 metrics until the next release.

Badge levels

Four statuses exist for the Diversity and Inclusion Event Badging:

PendingPendingLess than 40%
PassingPassingGreater than or equal to 40% and less than 60%
SilverSilverGreater than or equal to 60% and less than 80%
GoldGoldGreater than or equal to 80%
