bertie is a large, work-in-progress exploration, technology and magic modpack for NeoForge 1.21.1. Current development focuses on integrating its early-to-mid-game progression into a coherent and engaging experience.
The pack, its original mods, shared Gradle build logic, and build and test tooling live in the public bertie monorepo. A mod change can be built and exercised against the pack at the same revision before anything is released.
Most original work is released under The Unlicense. Third-party ports retain their upstream licensing and attribution; the licence beside each component is authoritative.

Releases remain independent. A component release is tagged subject/vX.Y.Z, so the pack
and every mod can move at its own pace while sharing one source tree.
