    I’m Karttikeya. Systems toucher, Nix and nvim enthusiast ;)

    I'm a Computer Science undergrad at Thapar University with a focus on systems programming. I love lower layers of software like compilers, interpreters, access control systems, and tools that make the developer experience smoother and more secure.

    Projects

    Zig
    A high-performance, deterministic filesystem time-machine and data debugger. Built with Merkle-DAGs and Content-Defined Chunking to enable infinite undo and granular data provenance.

    Rust
    GitHub-style access control for SSH servers. Define authorized_keys in TOML, track changes via Git, and sync via a secure daemon. Built from scratch in Rust.

    C++Compilers
    A toy compiler and interpreter that explores expression evaluation with a Rust-inspired syntax.

    Tech Stack

    Languages:
    RustC++ZigPython

    Currently learning

    • Writing secure system daemons and privilege separation
    • How real compilers optimize code
    • Designing portable tools for infrastructure and config validation
    • Rewriting tooling and workflows from scratch in Rust, just to understand them better
