LGTM. Can you add some option (in this, or a follow-up) so that I can opt-in to the old behavior. Fix the tests and land this. @balthazar should have the requisite permissions.
Sounds like your app could use better, or more representative integration tests 😉 |

The stack capturing should be an indication of an error, not creating a way for your app to break in production where hot reload is not available.
Will fix the tests after discussions. 😛
