Summary

  • make clerk doctor recognize native iOS projects and reuse the semantic Xcode, Swift, entitlements, runtime-key, and authentication-flow inspection introduced by the preceding stack
  • add GET-only diagnostics for Native API, exact Bundle ID registration, AuthView capabilities, and the Clerk Apple connection without exposing sensitive configuration
  • add explicit package-resolution, build, and simulator execution checks with validated containers, schemes, targets, isolated build state, signing disabled, and Clerk credentials removed from child processes
  • keep ordinary doctor and fix behavior read-only for iOS state, with remedies routing configuration changes back through clerk init
  • add a doctor-specific release changeset

Review this as the doctor-only layer. It is one commit above #439.

Safety

  • plain clerk doctor never invokes Xcode or mutates local or remote iOS state
  • remote iOS and Apple checks are GET-only and redact sensitive configuration
  • package resolution, build, install, and launch require explicit flags and never guess among ambiguous containers, schemes, targets, or simulators

Testing

  • bun run format:check
  • bun run lint
  • bun run typecheck
  • bun run test — 3,181 passing

Summary
  • make clerk doctor recognize native iOS projects and reuse the semantic Xcode, Swift, entitlements, runtime-key, and authentication-flow inspection introduced by the preceding stack
  • add GET-only diagnostics for Native API, exact Bundle ID registration, AuthView capabilities, and the Clerk Apple connection without exposing sensitive configuration
  • add explicit package-resolution, build, and simulator execution checks with validated containers, schemes, targets, isolated build state, signing disabled, and Clerk credentials removed from child processes
  • keep ordinary doctor and fix behavior read-only for iOS state, with remedies routing configuration changes back through clerk init
  • add a doctor-specific release changeset

Review this as the doctor-only layer. It is one commit above #439.
Safety
  • plain clerk doctor never invokes Xcode or mutates local or remote iOS state
  • remote iOS and Apple checks are GET-only and redact sensitive configuration
  • package resolution, build, install, and launch require explicit flags and never guess among ambiguous containers, schemes, targets, or simulators
Testing
  • bun run format:check
  • bun run lint
  • bun run typecheck
  • bun run test — 3,181 passing
