Description

We would like to support special characters like "ö" in emails. Using type="email" does not allow that.

I've verified that password managers will still correctly store the email.

Checklist

Description

We would like to support special characters like "ö" in emails. Using type="email" does not allow that.

I've verified that password managers will still correctly store the email.

We cannot use type & pattern at the same time, only type will be respected in that case
