Summary

  • Bumps next devDependency in @clerk/nextjs from 15.5.13 to 15.5.15
  • Updates integration templates and playgrounds to patched version floors
  • Adds minimumReleaseAgeExclude entries for next@15.5.15 and @next/*

Addresses CVE-2026-23869 — a high-severity (CVSS 7.5) denial-of-service vulnerability in React Server Components. A crafted HTTP request to any App Router Server Function endpoint can trigger excessive CPU usage. Patched in Next.js 15.5.15 and 16.2.3.

Peer dependency ranges are unchanged — this CVE is a DoS vulnerability unrelated to auth, so we don't want to force consumers to upgrade through peer dep constraints.

Test plan

  • pnpm install succeeds
  • pnpm build passes (21/21 packages)

…CURITY]
Bump next devDep to 15.5.15, narrow peerDep to ^15.5.15 || ^15.6.0-0 || ^16.2.3,
and update integration templates and playgrounds to patched version floors.

📝 Walkthrough

Walkthrough

This pull request updates Next.js versions across multiple template, package, and workspace configuration files to address CVE-2026-23869, a high-severity vulnerability affecting React Server Components. The changes include bumping Next.js from 15.0.1 to 15.5.15 in four template packages, from 16.2.1 to 16.2.3 in one template, and from 15.5.13 to 15.5.15 in the main package devDependencies. A changeset file documents the security advisory, and the pnpm workspace configuration is updated to exclude the patched versions from release age checks.

…CURITY]
Bump next devDep to 15.5.15, narrow peerDep to ^15.5.15 || ^15.6.0-0 || ^16.2.3,
and update integration templates and playgrounds to patched version floors.

…CURITY]
Bump next devDep to 15.5.15, narrow peerDep to ^15.5.15 || ^15.6.0-0 || ^16.2.3,
and update integration templates and playgrounds to patched version floors.
