Principal Architect · Founder, Always Curious LLC

Software strategy, architecture, and secure systems design — from fintech transaction platforms to WordPress at scale.

About

I build systems that process real money, protect real data, and scale under real pressure. After years as a software architect at a large fintech organization, I co-founded Always Curious LLC — a consultancy focused on software strategy, platform architecture, and secure application design.

My work sits at the intersection of content management, payments infrastructure, and multi-tenant SaaS. I think in systems, ship in Laravel & WordPress, and hold strong opinions about envelope encryption, tenant isolation, and why most "vibe-coded" software isn't ready for production.

I'm also an award-winning published photographer — a background that sharpens how I approach design thinking and user experience across everything I build.

What I'm Working On

  • VerityPay — A multi-tenant B2C payments platform built on Laravel 13, PostgreSQL, and AWS KMS with envelope encryption, schema-based tenant isolation, and WorkOS-backed RBAC
  • Burn After Reading — Secure ephemeral messaging with zero-knowledge encryption on Laravel 12 + Livewire 4 + Cloudflare R2
  • CrewLine — Field service network operator SaaS (brand strategy + architecture phase)
  • Open Source — Active WordPress ecosystem contributor with packages spanning ACF, Gravity Forms, WooCommerce, and S3 media offloading

Writing & Thinking

I write about platform architecture, secure development practices, and the tension between AI-driven velocity and production-grade software. More at alwayscurious.co.
