Summary

  • Route codex and pi verbose launch/tool output through the shared output::Colors palette.
  • Preserve the existing enabled-color byte output while respecting disabled-color paths such as NO_COLOR and piped stderr.
  • Add focused tests for verbose launch/tool formatting with colors enabled and disabled.

Tests

  • RUSTFLAGS="-D warnings" cargo build
  • RUSTFLAGS="-D warnings" cargo test
  • cargo clippy --all-targets -- -D warnings
