Hello World! 👋🌎

I'm Corey Coto—an artist, scientist, explorer, and builder working across developer tools, applied AI, and complex data systems.

Software is my favorite creative medium. For two decades, I’ve built products, platforms, teams, and companies—from data and cloud systems to consumer experiences operating at global scale. I’ve held engineering and product leadership roles at Pluralsight, Amazon, Mindbody, MindTouch, CoStar Group, and Liberty Mutual while staying close to the craft of building.

For the past three years, I’ve focused on AI-native products, developer tools, and workflows. I enjoy turning ambiguity into useful, trustworthy systems and partnering across disciplines so teams can move quickly, learn together, and do their best work.

Right now I’m building Git Slop, an open-source, local-first tool that finds the files consuming disproportionate AI context and turns repository structure into actionable maintenance work.

I’m especially interested in software that helps people—and AI systems—understand, maintain, and improve complex systems.
