SG16 continued its review of P3876R0 during the 2026-02-11 SG16 meeting. No additional polls were taken. Some wording related concerns were raised, some of which are being discussed in an SG16 mailing list thread. Further SG16 review now awaits an updated revision.

LWG 4522 (Clarify that std::format transcodes for std::wformat_strings) was filed to follow up on an observation that numeric formatting specified in terms of to_chars() requires transcoding when formatting for wide-character strings.
