[5.x]: Parent field shows a different language than the entry being edited #19576

Description

@lekiq

Description

When editing an entry in German, the Parent field in the right sidebar shows the parent's French title. Opening the parent through this field also opens its French translation.

The parent exists in German, and the breadcrumbs at the top correctly show its German title and link to its German translation.

We also see this when editing English entries. It affects many entries in our multilingual Structure section. German is our primary site.

The issue occurred on Craft 5.10.14 and still occurs after updating to 5.11.1.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Have a Structure section with parent and child entries available in German, English, and French.
  2. Give the parent a different title in each language.
  3. Open the German or English version of the child entry.
  4. Check the Parent field in the right sidebar.
  5. Open the parent using that field's Edit action.

Expected behavior

The Parent field should show the parent's title in the current entry's language, if available. Editing the parent through this field should open that same language.

Actual behavior

The Parent field shows the French title and opens the French translation, even though the parent is available in the current language.

The breadcrumbs on the same page display and open the correct translation.
