Actually it was never maintained. It was used only as backup mirror. |

It was originally hosted on http://slim.berlios.de/. But this site was taken down in 2014, see wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BerliOS). |

I'm happy to take on maintaining slim. We are using it as the default DM for Devuan (fork of Debian) Jessie at the moment and will probably keep it for another release cycle unless something substantially better that can be built without systemd dependencies comes along. |

Hi Centuriondan, you are very welcome to take on the maintaining of slim :) Just fork it, and we'll ad a comment in our readme, that you have taken over. |
the old main repo is here: https://github.com/iwamatsu/slim however it isn't maintained anymore, but it would probably nice if all forks from here would set the origin to this repository to list all forks at one place |
To avoid black screen and enable Optimus configuration, it is required to issue XrandR commands after X started, such as:
Here is a quick hack adding xsetup_cmd configuration entry to achieve this.
