Rolling up skill/MCP related changes to minimise noise :-)

  • Support --help, so that the first seqcli command in every session isn't a failed one
  • Adds --native to search|query|tail commands to activate round-trip formatting
  • Tidies up SKILL.md and improves CLI vs MCP neutrality
  • Make search and trace consistently use the EventEntity path and always include tracing/OTel properties
  • Add seq_list_signals and signal parameters on search/query

Some slight reordering in the skill seems to have improved performance with Qwen 3.6 27B, seeing some surprisingly good results out of it, but need a bigger sample size (only ran a couple of dozen tasks through it).

Rolling up skill/MCP related changes to minimise noise :-)
  • Support --help, so that the first seqcli command in every session isn't a failed one
  • Adds --native to search|query|tail commands to activate round-trip formatting
  • Tidies up SKILL.md and improves CLI vs MCP neutrality
  • Make search and trace consistently use the EventEntity path and always include tracing/OTel properties
  • Add seq_list_signals and signal parameters on search/query
Some slight reordering in the skill seems to have improved performance with Qwen 3.6 27B, seeing some surprisingly good results out of it, but need a bigger sample size (only ran a couple of dozen tasks through it).
