This repository contains small Java classes that each demonstrate a new feature introduced in a specific Java version as JEP. Unlike other github repositoriees with the same goal it also comes with a corresponding repository java-new-features-settings that allows to setup the entire development environment with recent JDK and IDE based on devonfw-ide.
Follow setup instructions and provide https://github.com/devonfw-sample/java-new-features-settings.git as settings URL when asked during the setup.
