Multidisciplinary engineer on the east coast of Canada. I work across industrial and manufacturing systems, cloud at scale, embedded, firmware, and hardware. The connective tissue is software, Linux and Unix, networks, and the operational technology that has to keep running whether or not anyone is watching.

My interests have a habit of turning into involuntary deep dives. A question like "how accurate can a twenty dollar clock actually be" turns into hardware timestamping, kernel ioctls, and three nights of staring at chrony output. Most of that ends up written down on the blog.

dniminenn — JR, multidisciplinary engineer
Multidisciplinary engineer on the east coast of Canada. I work across industrial and
manufacturing systems, cloud at scale, embedded, firmware, and hardware. The connective
tissue is software, Linux and Unix, networks, and the operational technology that has to
keep running whether or not anyone is watching.
My interests have a habit of turning into involuntary deep dives. A question like "how
accurate can a twenty dollar clock actually be" turns into hardware timestamping, kernel
ioctls, and three nights of staring at chrony output. Most of that ends up written down on
the blog.
