Summary

  • cover asynchronous exception handling across all TaskFlow implementations
  • verify interleaved exception handlers retain registration order
  • verify interceptor error/finally callbacks run before completion handlers
  • verify operation annotations reach OnError callbacks

Why

OnError previously observed failures after the terminal scheduler had completed, so callbacks for DedicatedThreadTaskFlow ran without the flow synchronization context. PR #25 introduces completion middleware inside the terminal execution envelope; this stacked PR adds the focused public-behavior coverage needed for #14.

Impact

This PR is test-only and depends on #25. No production API or implementation changes are added here.

Validation

  • Release build succeeded with 0 warnings and 0 errors
  • TaskFlow tests: 249 passed on .NET 8 and 249 passed on .NET 10
  • dependency-injection tests: 15 passed on each target
  • Microsoft logging tests: 5 passed on each target

Summary
  • cover asynchronous exception handling across all TaskFlow implementations
  • verify interleaved exception handlers retain registration order
  • verify interceptor error/finally callbacks run before completion handlers
  • verify operation annotations reach OnError callbacks
Why
OnError previously observed failures after the terminal scheduler had completed, so callbacks for DedicatedThreadTaskFlow ran without the flow synchronization context. PR #25 introduces completion middleware inside the terminal execution envelope; this stacked PR adds the focused public-behavior coverage needed for #14.
Impact
This PR is test-only and depends on #25. No production API or implementation changes are added here.
Validation
  • Release build succeeded with 0 warnings and 0 errors
  • TaskFlow tests: 249 passed on .NET 8 and 249 passed on .NET 10
  • dependency-injection tests: 15 passed on each target
  • Microsoft logging tests: 5 passed on each target
