last time we moved something like that, we had concerns around commit history, does it apply here?

theoretically yes, but such commit history can resolved either way
and these files in particular aren't super "interesting", they are just simple defines of the registers
so there isn't really history to "lose"

and these files in particular aren't super "interesting", they are just simple defines of the registers
so there isn't really history to "lose"

last time we moved something like that, we had concerns around commit history, does it apply here?

theoretically yes, but such commit history can resolved either way
and these files in particular aren't super "interesting", they are just simple defines of the registers
so there isn't really history to "lose"
