Closing — per @BrzVlad on #128899, disabling/skipping the interpreter assert is not the wanted fix; the real fix was #128728 and the current recurrence is tracked in #129327. Not pursuing the skip.

Closing — per @BrzVlad on #128899, disabling/skipping the interpreter assert is not the wanted fix; the real fix was #128728 and the current recurrence is tracked in #129327. Not pursuing the skip.
