Technology, security and architecture leader with 25 years of experience shaping strategy, architecture and transformation across cybersecurity, cloud and critical 24/7 environments.
My work sits at the intersection of technology strategy, enterprise architecture and cybersecurity: setting technology direction, shaping investment priorities, establishing governance and operating models, and turning complex transformation goals into executable roadmaps.
At Schneider Electric, I built the global cloud security strategy, secured executive funding and led a multi-initiative transformation program across AWS and Azure. At AWS, I led security and cloud transformation engagements for major regulated organizations across EMEA.
Today, I lead Enterprise Security Architecture & Cloud Security for a 24/7 IoT environment serving millions of customers across tenths of countries, spanning cloud, edge and on-premises platforms.

My current work focuses on Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity and the adoption of AI in complex enterprise environments.
A particular area of interest is hybrid, local-first AI: architectures that prioritize local or edge inference and processing while using policy-controlled escalation to cloud AI services when additional capability or compute is required.
This raises architectural questions well beyond model selection, including:
- Data sovereignty and privacy
- Identity and model access
- Security boundaries and isolation
- Observability and governance
- Resilience and connectivity
- Model routing and policy enforcement
- Enterprise platform integration
- Cost and operational sustainability
I explore these ideas through the open-source Local Hybrid AI project.
Local Hybrid AI is an open-source reference architecture for local-first hybrid AI focused on data sovereignty, security and policy-controlled cloud escalation.
It combines:
Local inference • Model routing • RAG • Agentic workflows • Security • Observability • Governance
The objective is not to avoid cloud AI, but to use local and cloud capabilities deliberately according to data sensitivity, model capability, latency, resilience and cost.
Architecture:
TOGAF • SABSA • ArchiMate • C4 • Ardoq • BPMN • UML
Cloud & Platforms:
AWS • Azure • Microservices • APIs • Event-driven architectures
Security:
Wiz • Lacework • SailPoint • Okta • CyberArk • Palo Alto • Zscaler • Splunk
AI:
Hybrid & local-first AI architectures • AWS Bedrock • SageMaker • RAG • Agentic systems • LLMOps/MLOps • AI Security & Governance
Programming:
Python • Rust • C/C++ • Bash
Most of my public repositories sit around three areas:
Local-first AI, agents, RAG, inference, model routing and architectural experimentation.
Security architecture, cloud, observability, automation and infrastructure tooling.
Software and experimentation around amateur radio, including projects developed under my callsign EA1HET.
Outside work, I'm also an amateur radio operator — EA1HET.
