rovercam readme graphic

Thanks to the Mars Rover Photos API from NASA, ROVERCAM gives users the ability to explore the Red Plant through the eyes of the Mars Rovers: Curiosity, Opportunity, Perseverance, & Spirit.

ROVERCAM lets you:

  • see the latest photos from each rover
  • search photos by SOL (martian day)
  • search photos by Earth Date
  • filter photo results by rover camera (coming soon!)

Mars Rover Photos API

https://mars-photos.herokuapp.com/api/v1 allows CORS & doesn't require a NASA API key

https://api.nasa.gov/mars-photos/ official NASA Mars Rover Photos API endpoint. I'll swap out the Heroku endpoint for this one when ROVERCAM goes live.

Thanks to the Mars Rover Photos API from NASA, ROVERCAM gives users the ability to explore the Red Plant through the eyes of the Mars Rovers: Curiosity, Opportunity, Perseverance, & Spirit.
ROVERCAM lets you:
  • see the latest photos from each rover
  • search photos by SOL (martian day)
  • search photos by Earth Date
  • filter photo results by rover camera (coming soon!)

Mars Rover Photos API
https://mars-photos.herokuapp.com/api/v1 allows CORS & doesn't require a NASA API key
https://api.nasa.gov/mars-photos/ official NASA Mars Rover Photos API endpoint. I'll swap out the Heroku endpoint for this one when ROVERCAM goes live.
