I run the kind of environment where one person owns the whole stack — from the switch port to the backup restore test. Linux servers, virtualization, monitoring, storage, networking, endpoint management, and the automation that keeps all of it reproducible.
Linux & virtualization — Debian, Ubuntu, Proxmox. Web servers, mail servers (Exim/Dovecot), and self-hosted services in Docker. Hardening, patching, and the unglamorous parts that keep uptime boring.
Automation — Ansible for provisioning and configuration management. If I've done it twice by hand, it becomes a playbook.
Observability — Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Promtail. Centralized log collection with rsyslog, dashboards that answer questions.
Storage & backup — TrueNAS and Synology, 3-2-1 backup strategies, offsite replication, and periodic restore tests — because a backup that has never been restored is a hypothesis.
Networking — MikroTik (RouterOS), Ubiquiti, some Cisco. WireGuard tunnels, DNS filtering, VLAN segmentation.
Endpoint management — Windows devices via Microsoft Intune and Entra ID: Autopilot enrollment, compliance and configuration policies, SSO integration.
Data pipelines — ETL with Apache Hop and Pentaho: automated ingestion of Czech public-sector open data registries into MySQL, with scheduled downloads, schema handling, and change detection.
Development — PHP/MySQL internal applications, Python for tooling and integrations. REST API services.
Local LLM tooling — self-hosted inference with Ollama, LoRA fine-tuning on consumer hardware, and integrating local models into development workflows.
Headwind MDM — contributor to the open-source Android MDM project: Czech localization, bugfixes, and feature additions across the mobile agent and plugins. I also run a self-hosted Headwind server in production.
Home Assistant integrations — ha-chmi-pollen pulls pollen forecast data from the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute; creality-v3-ke-ha brings a Creality V3 KE printer into Home Assistant.
Infrastructure notes — fedora-single-gpu-passthrough, a working single-GPU passthrough setup on Fedora with Ryzen + Nvidia.
Small independent engagements alongside my day job — mostly migration and operations rather than design.
euroexpres.info — took over an existing production site for a haulage company, rebuilt it as a static site on Cloudflare Pages.
lakovani-fladrovani.cz — hand-written HTML/CSS/JS site for a decorating business, later ported to the client's preferred platform.
Ongoing WordPress/WooCommerce maintenance and customization for a retail client.
