Hey there 👋 I'm Ester!

I'm a platform-minded engineer working at the intersection of developer experience, build systems, and code quality. Most of my work lives in large frontend monorepos — making CI fast, environments predictable, and quality gates real, so that dozens of engineers ship with less friction. I hold a degree in Systems Analysis and Development and a postgraduate degree in Data Science. I'm naturally curious and believe in continuous learning as a way to improve not just as a developer, but as a human being.

🏗️ Current focus: Frontend platform engineering in Nx monorepos — build performance, CI pipeline optimization, environment standardization and dependency governance at fleet scale.

What I actually enjoy: taking a slow, tangled pipeline and making it fast and boring. Untangling circular dependencies, shrinking CI times, and turning "it works on my machine" into a reproducible build.

🎭 Testing nerd: Strong experience in unit and E2E testing with Jest and Playwright — including hermetic, parallelized browser suites. I've led a full Cypress → Playwright migration across a monorepo.

🛠️ Tech I'm working with:Monorepo & build: Nx, PNPM workspaces, Turborepo, module boundaries, dependency catalogs → Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, ES6+, SCSS/SASS, CSS Modules → Testing: Playwright, Jest, hermetic test environments → CI/CD & quality: pipeline optimization, SonarQube, progressive linting, release automation, secret management → Also worked with: Angular, Stencil.js, C#, feature flags, performance tuning

🎯 Things I care about: incremental migrations that actually finish, quality gates that block instead of warn, and documentation that lets other people do the work without me.

💡 Always looking to collaborate on projects focused on developer experience, frontend architecture, and build tooling. 🎮 Outside of code, I'm into indie games, cooking experiments, and alternative music scenes. 🌈 Pronouns: She/Her

esterfania/README.md
