grouplogic. How to manage servicegroups

I'm having difficulty understanding whether the Icinga / Nagios modules manage service groups. I'm toying with hacking it to use a top-scope array where a module name gets a group name via magictag, so bacula services get "backup", but it seems a bit clunky.

Any thoughts?

The module uses top scope $icinga_hostgrouplogic to manage host groups (and $icinga_grouplogic to define which hosts are monitored by which server)
Service groups are currently not managed in an automated way.
