PR #248 (April 2025) fixed 'Ensure minimum size is only 0 if the investment is non optional', but the branch is now 547 commits behind and the investment code has been rewritten since. Before discarding the idea, verify on current main whether the minimum-size lower bound is still incorrectly relaxed to 0 for non-optional investments, and port the fix if so.
