The one before it held 2,010, because the base was the remote default and a bee's branch is cut from a working branch a night ahead of it - so the diff was the night. Neither extreme was ever right: the current branch merges into a person's work, the default branch proposes everything. The base is the fork point. And the gate was tested for the one answer nobody had checked. Eight repairs to false refusals, and not once had a true refusal been confirmed - a false yes would have cost more than all of them together. A task was written with a criterion no bee could satisfy; the refusal named that criterion and left the satisfied one alone.
