Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create SvelteKit project
  2. Add @sentry/sveltekit as dependency
  3. Add the sentrySvelteKit plugin to Vite config
  4. Log the mode in which the Vite config is loaded
  5. Run vite build --mode staging

Expected Result

Every time the Vite config is loaded, the mode is staging.

Actual Result

When the sentrySvelteKit plugin loads the Vite config, the mode is production instead of staging.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Create SvelteKit project
  2. Add @sentry/sveltekit as dependency
  3. Add the sentrySvelteKit plugin to Vite config
  4. Log the mode in which the Vite config is loaded
  5. Run vite build --mode staging
Expected Result
Every time the Vite config is loaded, the mode is staging.
Actual Result
When the sentrySvelteKit plugin loads the Vite config, the mode is production instead of staging.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Create SvelteKit project
  2. Add @sentry/sveltekit as dependency
  3. Add the sentrySvelteKit plugin to Vite config
  4. Log the mode in which the Vite config is loaded
  5. Run vite build --mode staging
Expected Result
Every time the Vite config is loaded, the mode is staging.
Actual Result
When the sentrySvelteKit plugin loads the Vite config, the mode is production instead of staging.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Create SvelteKit project
  2. Add @sentry/sveltekit as dependency
  3. Add the sentrySvelteKit plugin to Vite config
  4. Log the mode in which the Vite config is loaded
  5. Run vite build --mode staging
Expected Result
Every time the Vite config is loaded, the mode is staging.
Actual Result
When the sentrySvelteKit plugin loads the Vite config, the mode is production instead of staging.

Steps to Reproduce
  1. Create SvelteKit project
  2. Add @sentry/sveltekit as dependency
  3. Add the sentrySvelteKit plugin to Vite config
  4. Log the mode in which the Vite config is loaded
  5. Run vite build --mode staging
Expected Result
Every time the Vite config is loaded, the mode is staging.
Actual Result
When the sentrySvelteKit plugin loads the Vite config, the mode is production instead of staging.
