All direct usage of @opentelemetry/core was removed across previous PRs (resource/SDK_INFO, RPC metadata, and the suppress helpers), so it is no longer imported anywhere in src. This drops the direct declaration from @sentry/node and @sentry/opentelemetry, leaving @opentelemetry/api as the only OpenTelemetry package the SDK depends on.

Note: The entry still remains in the lock file, because we have a node-integration test that depends on @opentelemetry/instrumentation-http which depends on@opentelemetry/core.

dependency is no longer imported anywhere in `src`. This drops the direct

All direct usage of @opentelemetry/core was removed across previous PRs (resource/SDK_INFO, RPC metadata, and the suppress helpers), so it is no longer imported anywhere in src. This drops the direct declaration from @sentry/node and @sentry/opentelemetry, leaving @opentelemetry/api as the only OpenTelemetry package the SDK depends on.
Note: The entry still remains in the lock file, because we have a node-integration test that depends on @opentelemetry/instrumentation-http which depends on@opentelemetry/core.

All direct usage of @opentelemetry/core was removed across previous PRs (resource/SDK_INFO, RPC metadata, and the suppress helpers), so it is no longer imported anywhere in src. This drops the direct declaration from @sentry/node and @sentry/opentelemetry, leaving @opentelemetry/api as the only OpenTelemetry package the SDK depends on.
Note: The entry still remains in the lock file, because we have a node-integration test that depends on @opentelemetry/instrumentation-http which depends on@opentelemetry/core.

RPC metadata, and the suppress helpers were all removed or vendored), so the
dependency is no longer imported anywhere in `src`. This drops the direct
declaration from `@sentry/node` and `@sentry/opentelemetry` (deps, peerDeps and
devDeps) and the README. It remains available transitively via
`@opentelemetry/instrumentation-http`.
