DuckANC is a Chrome extension that automatically reduces the volume of other browser tabs when your active tab starts playing audio, helping you stay focused without completely muting your other tabs.

Go to the Releases section of this repository and download the latest DuckANC release.
Extract the downloaded .zip file to a folder on your computer.
Important: Do not delete the extracted folder after installing the extension. Chrome loads the extension directly from this folder.
Open Google Chrome and go to:
chrome://extensions/
Or:
Menu → Extensions → Manage Extensions
Turn on Developer mode in the top-right corner.
Click Load unpacked.
Select the DuckANC folder that you extracted from the Release ZIP.
The extension should now appear in your Chrome extensions list.
Click the puzzle-piece Extensions icon in Chrome and pin DuckANC for quick access.
Once installed, DuckANC works automatically in the background.
When another tab starts playing audio while you are listening to your active tab, DuckANC automatically reduces the volume of the other tab.
You can open the DuckANC popup to enable or disable the extension and configure available options.
Go to:
chrome://extensions/
Find DuckANC, click Remove, and confirm.
Download the latest version from the Releases section of this repository.
