Canada's Northwest Territories (America/Inuvik) moved to permanent -06 on 2026-08-21 at 02:00 with abbreviation CST (although the change is temporarily modelled as not falling back on 2026-11-01 instead), matching Alberta's 2026c change. Colombia (America/Bogota) moved to daylight time on 1992-05-02 at 00:00, not 24:00. Iran (Asia/Tehran and its link Iran) moved to daylight time on 1979-05-26 at 00:00, not 24:00. The backward-compatibility names CST6CDT, EST5EDT, MST7MDT, and PST8PDT now conform better to POSIX.
