Part of the seam UX-prototype track (Krishna interview). Priority: later — lowest; concept still fuzzy.

What

A user-profiles view distinguishing how different users work: experimental user (initial pulses / running ILC trials / tracking best pulses so far), production system, and optimizing-pulses-but-not-running-on-hardware.

Krishna's signal (interview 2026-06-30, p3)

"USER PROFILES": experimental user (☐ initial pulses · ☐ running ilc trials · ☐ tracking best pulses so far?) · production system · optimizing-not-on-hardware.

Where it sits

Touches the persona work (amico voice/interview) and multi-user — neither in β–Phase 1 scope, and the least-formed of the seven. Treat this as a discovery sketch to decide whether profiles are a real construct or just onboarding presets.

Feedback questions for Krishna / Andrew

  1. Are these three profiles real and distinct, or facets of one user over time?
  2. What would a profile actually change in the UI — defaults, visible surfaces, onboarding path?

                Part of the seam UX-prototype track (Krishna interview). Priority: later — lowest; concept still fuzzy.

                What

                A user-profiles view distinguishing how different users work: experimental user (initial pulses / running ILC trials / tracking best pulses so far), production system, and optimizing-pulses-but-not-running-on-hardware.

                Where it sits

                Touches the persona work (amico voice/interview) and multi-user — neither in β–Phase 1 scope, and the least-formed of the seven. Treat this as a discovery sketch to decide whether profiles are a real construct or just onboarding presets.

                1. Are these three profiles real and distinct, or facets of one user over time?
                2. What would a profile actually change in the UI — defaults, visible surfaces, onboarding path?
