Emilie El Chidiac

Design Technologist. I build tools in Rhino, Grasshopper and code that score how a space works on the people inside it. AI-assisted, of course. The judgment about what they get wrong is mine.

Design automation, generative pipelines, and the web apps that put all of it in front of people who will never open Rhino.

What I have built

Sensi · a design copilot that reads a floor plan, models sensorial comfort across six senses, and scores each room against one person's stated priorities instead of an average occupant. The useful output is not the number but which other senses move when you change one thing. It models and estimates; it does not measure wellbeing. MaCAD '26 Winner (June 2026), Design Copilots category at IAAC. Built as project lead, team of 4 credited: Charles Abi Chahine, María Sánchez Domínguez, Lakzhmy Mari Zaro and me. I am still building it, alone now, as my MaCAD thesis. live demo · code · the long read

NeuroSpace · move a slider and watch a browser score what the room is doing to you. Grasshopper geometry on the server through Rhino Compute, behavioral scoring in the browser. The weights sit in the repo, so you can argue with them. The course compute server it depended on has since been retired, so the scoring still runs and the geometry does not. The recorded walkthrough is on the project page, and a server-free version is the next build. repo · walkthrough · the long read

lEgoarCh · name a building, get a LEGO set that is digitally verified buildable. Generative AI proposes the form, deterministic code proves the bricks actually fit. Jury award at IAAC. Built with Charles Abi Chahine, end to end as a pair. repo · the long read

Spatial graph analysis · buildings read as graphs: geometric adjacency, physical access, and lines of sight as three separate structures you can query, then a GraphSAGE classifier over the massing. topologicpy, PyTorch Geometric. repo
