Features?

Let's talk about what we want before we start coding. Features I think we'll definitely need:

Simple routing configuration
Full-featured testing library
No-fuss logging
Minimalistic DI container

Too ambitious? Flat out wrong? Additions?

Micro or full-fledge framework? What techniques can we use that we know work in regards in the direction we want to go to.

I'm also thinking I'm just going to kick it off. Now.

I like the fact that we can utilize what Slim has accomplished. Do we want to bundle any libraries or make it barebone for customization?

I think it would be a cool exercise to implement an RMR framework instead of MVC

@chadicus in reading that, it seems like a fitting description of the direction frameworks like Slim are moving in. We haven't yet labelled this framework as MVC or anything else; I agree that it would be cool to aim for an RMR implementation. @troy0820 thoughts?

I think it would be pretty cool to implement. Not in just with keeping up with the cool kids but to make a solution that will put us in the direction of what becomes standard (if that makes any sense). Let's do an RMR implementation. Great way to learn too.
