Postico Issues

You can use this repo to submit bugs and feature requests for Postico.

To submit an issue, click the "Issues" tab above.

Bugs always have top priority. I prioritise new features roughly according to popularity and the amount of effort required. I don't want complicated features to block easier things.

You can also view the full list of issues sorted by popularity.

Please use the "thumbs up" button to show support for a feature request. Avoid posting "+1" comments, since those will be forwarded to everyone watching the repo.

Development Timeline

There is no timeline for Postico. I generally work on features that I consider useful, and that I believe will still be useful in 10 years.

I have a tendency to overthink things. Simple features often take me weeks or months to finish. In the long run, I don't think it matters. I have been working on Postico for more than a decade, and will probably continue to do so for the next two decades. On that timescale, it doesn't really make a big difference if a feature is implemented next week or next year.

But I understand that for you, as someone who works with Postico, timing does matter. For this reason, please buy a Postico license only if it is useful for you today.

On that timescale, it doesn't really make a big difference if a feature is implemented next week or next year.
But I understand that for you, as someone who works with Postico, timing does matter. For this reason, please buy a Postico license only if it is useful for you today.

Postico 2 has a feedback button in the toolbar. Use it to send bug reports and feature requests! You can also use the feedback button to send anonymous feedback.
You can of course always use old fashioned email: jakob@eggerapps.at
I try to personally respond to most messages, but sometimes I am busy and forget to reply. Please keep emailing me anyway! I always love to hear from people using my app, even when I am too busy to reply.
