@Regnised можуть бути різні причини, чому так відбувається. Створіть в своєму репозиторії нову гілку і поексперементуйте з комітами.
У мене на macOS була проблема з Ключарем (той застосунок, де система зберігає облікові дані GitHub).
Також гляньте в сам ssh-agent: ssh-add -l. І видаліть всі зайві записи. Залишіть тільки той, який використовується для GitHub.
В налаштуваннях репозиторію змініть в .git/config і перевірте секцію [user].
Також використовуйте один інструмент для комітів/push. Або консоль, або IDE.
Якщо через консоль, то можна використати таку команду git commit --amend --author. Ось тут детальніше написано.
