I have an implementation of most of the unfinished work you have in this project. If you'd like to borrow it, it's currently licensed under GPLv2 or later in my Fermat library and its associated modules. I had to stop stabilizing my complex number implementations, since those were working but slow. They are currently not working, but that's because I'm updating the underlying implementation to be much faster.
If you'd like any pointers I've put hundreds of hours into research for this, and would be happy to share it.
